Cremation

Dignified care at every step.

We offer compassionate and personalized cremation services to support you and your family during this difficult time. Our goal is to provide the guidance and information you need to make the best decisions for your loved one’s final arrangements. Cremation services can be customized and combined with many of the other services we offer, allowing you to create a fitting tribute that honors their memory.

Cremation Service Options

We provide a range of cremation service options to meet your specific needs:

1) Traditional Cremation Services: Similar to a traditional funeral, this option includes a funeral service with the deceased present, followed by cremation. Families may choose to hold a visitation before the service. Afterward, the cremated remains can be buried in a cemetery, placed in a columbarium, or returned to the family. A graveside service can also be arranged if desired.

2) Memorial Gathering: A memorial service can be held any time after the cremation. The urn is typically displayed during the service and can take place in any setting you choose. We are here to help you plan a memorial gathering that reflects the life and values of your loved one.

3) Direct Cremation: For those seeking a more straightforward option, direct cremation involves handling all necessary paperwork and transporting the deceased to the crematory. Once the process is complete, the crematory promptly returns the cremated remains to the family.

Our Commitment to You

Our primary purpose is to ease the burden on families during their time of loss. Our dedicated staff handles every detail with care, ensuring all necessary permits and notifications are filed promptly and accurately. This attention to detail helps to avoid any delays in the cremation process.

We take great pride in providing respectful care for the deceased. Our trained and certified crematory operators are committed to handling your loved one with dignity and compassion throughout the entire process. We also ensure the safekeeping and prompt return of cremated remains, notifying you as soon as they are available and safeguarding the urn until you are ready to receive it.

Scattering Ashes

A scattering ceremony can be a meaningful way to say goodbye. Whether held at our facilities or a location of your choice, we can help you plan a beautiful tribute. If you choose to scatter ashes, there are some important guidelines to consider:

  • Private Property: Obtain written permission from the property owner.
  • Public Parks: A scattering permit is usually required.
  • Public Lands: Generally, there are no regulations, but ashes should not be scattered within 100 yards of public roads or trails.
  • At Sea: Scattering must be done at least three nautical miles from the coastline, and the EPA must be notified within 30 days. Inland waters require a permit under the Clean Water Act.
